Noah lost his first tooth yesterday. He is almost six years old. It was quite the experience. His Mema told him to hold ice on his gum first to numb it up. It seemed to work for him because he hardly made a peep when I pulled it. He was so proud! We had to go to Daddy's office to show him in person. "Notice anything different?" he said. And he had to drink out of a straw through his new "holy" mouth. This morning, he was overjoyed to show us his $5 from the tooth fairy. These moments are precious. And it's even more precious to know that we will get to do this all over again with our daughter-to-be.
Our foster parenting classes were canceled last week due to weather. We learned yesterday that they're canceled this week, too. Trying not to be too bummed/impatient. Ready to get things going but trusting that God's timing is definitely better than my own. Meanwhile, we go on loving these two amazing boys God gave to us.
