What a weekend! We started if off a bit early by going to Oklahoma City on Thursday. Josh had to get some paperwork notarized at a bank there, so he took the day off and we got to play! We began with a trip to the zoo. The boys had a lot of fun...even though it was incredibly hot! They were BEGGING for a coke, so we let them share one. Hey- those zoo coke machines are EXPENSIVE! And we were saving our money for the movies later.
After the coke ran out, we stopped at EVERY mist machine they had!
After the zoo took it's toll on us, (hey- we made it for 3 hours!) we went and grabbed a burger at Backyard Burgers, which I highly recommend. Good stuff. Then we got his paperwork done and headed to Moore, OK to the Warren Theater (our new favorite) to see Wall-E. We all fell IN LOVE with this movie! ADORABLE! I would highly recommend it. Noah sat in his seat or my lap the entire time- keeping quiet through the whole thing- which is QUITE the task for this little motor mouth. And we had several laugh-out-loud moments with Levi. Then, as soon as it was over, Noah said, "Mommy, I want to see Wall-E AGAIN." He was extremely sad to say good-bye to his new robot friend.

The next day was the fourth of July. Waymon and Charla (my in-laws) were coming and we had invited our good friends the Schlups over for dinner that night. Our kids had a blast playing together. It's really nice to see them getting along so well with one another. Rob and Amy are new to Ada and we're so glad that they're here. After dinner, we headed out to our land and enjoyed the fireworks. Noah attempted to enjoy them anyway. He was really terrified of the noise! We made smores around a campfire and perfected our different marshmallow-toasting techniques! It was a lot of fun!
The rest of the weekend was spent looking for a rent house for my in-laws. We're pretty sure we've found a good one...waiting on some details. It's so exciting to think of them living here in Ada! The kids kept asking if they could live with Mema and Poppie. I encouraged them to ask! ;) Only a little over a month until they're here! We can hardly wait!
